You're thinking of the Rob Zombie Halloween, I was talking about the newest one that brought back Jamie Lee Curtis

Actually now that I think about it Halloween 2018 isn't even a reboot, it's a direct continuation of the series that ignores everything past Halloween II.

I saw The Irishman. The first few scenes were very interesting but after that, the movie became slow, dull, and boring. (Not much action, just a bunch of old men saying random things.)

I rewatched Zombie's Halloweens during my drunken Halloween marathon on Halloween and they weren't as good as I remembered. Too cringe in places like it was trying too hard to inject an offensive sense of humor that relies completely on shock value rather than wit.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

I thought it was great. I especially liked the part where they incorporated Joseph Colombo‘s assassination attempt (that left him paralyzed) at the Italian Unity Day rally. There’s something very surreal about that event. Plus, I liked the way it dealt with aging and death.

The digital de-aging was a bit distracting and not that well done. Otherwise it was great.

I have a hard time motivating myself to watch it. Generally mob/organized crime type movies put me to sleep (with some exceptions). Like jwb recommended Once Upon A Time in America to me and I was asleep 20mins in.

I'm a little the same. There's a basic bitch quality to the obsession with gangsters that's like the obsession with cowboys, even though gangsters don't bore me a tenth as much as cowboys do.
