Great film. Little pretentious but that's to be expected.

^have yet to see it but I'm craving either Royal Tenenbaums or Darjeeling Limited. I love both.

I like most Wes Anderson movies, but Grand Budapest Hotel and The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou are my favorites by far.

Is...is this...is this something we agree on? Oh happy day. Both solid movies. The Life Aquatic is also a personal favorite.

I think both just nail that Anderson quirk in a way that makes both great feel-good movies.
Plus Willem Dafoe's character in both movies cracks me up every time.

I just enjoy his directing style. Every movie I've seen of his always feels like a moving art piece in the best way.

I probably like all of them too. Might have mised one or two. That's probably something I should check up on.

But yeah, he's got a style of his own. It's incredibly visible in Grand Budapest Hotel. All those straight lines in corridors and rooms makes it really visible how he alway pans the camera sideways or zooms it, but never ever changes the angle even a little in any one particular shot. There's a very distinct rhythm and feel to his movies.
