Zodiac is still a good 9/10 though

Step away from the crack pipe.

Not love. The Social Network was ok-ish if memory serves. Did not appreciate the wonders of Seven.

Just one of those director's whose style rubs me the wrong way more often than not. Nolan and Tarantino being another couple prominent examples.

Maybe it's just a brilliant adaption of Chuck Palahniuk's novel?

It absolutely is

And I’m a Nolan fanboy and I’ll never be afraid to admit it

Both he and Fincher for sure in my top 10 directors

I liked Interstellar, so Nolan is not completely useless.

The Social Network was fine but suffered from being absolutely uncompelling (like most biopics). Seven is brilliant though, even if it's not very friendly.

Uncompelling in what way? But yeah, I'm struggling to think of a biopic that I really loved. I liked Walk the Line. But then again, not an amazing movie.

Uncompelling in plot and character I guess. It's a fancy word for dull.

My Left Foot is the only biopic that I'd call brilliant.

I liked that James Brown biopic that came out a few years ago. The one that started with him interrupting a meeting with his shotgun.
