I saw it in theaters. The whole genre is lame to me and the movie theater felt like a bunch of hyperbolic teenage girls. It's like when you go on a haunted hay ride and people start screaming because the bigman in a mask touches their arm. Same thing with the first Paranormal Activity.. I've tried to like them and get into the vibe they are supposed to create, just doesnt happen.

That's a negative ghost rider. The first time I saw it was only few years ago and it scared me to shit. Since we're so desensitized to the found footage genre we comprehend it's only just a film. Blair Witch though still definitely holds up in terms of how "real" it all feels. It's no wonder people thought this shit actually happened.
