Look it was good and I was entertained throughout but when you tend to improv a whole movie (which it felt like) it seemed forced at times and a bit awkward. Taika Waititti's a great director though I'll give him that.

This blew me away. I hardly knew anything about Chet Baker and the rivalry he faced with Miles Davis and all them cool cats back in the day, but Ethan Hawke's performance as this crumbling junkie piece of shit jazz extraordinaire was incredible. It flew under the radar but critics loved it and it's on Netflix. I always knew Ethan Hawke was good, but he's great. Anything he's in I'm glued.

Can't wait to get my cable back. Re: Hawke, I could watch Training Day once a week for the rest of my life.

I just found out the other day Denzel won best Actor for that film. I was a little shocked. He deserved it.

Of course you'd love a movie that ends with a cop shooting an unarmed black man.
