I've only gone alone once but it's amazing what a difference it makes not having to wait for your buddy to get out of the bathroom after the movie.

Got through Antman today. Surprisingly good. Does the movie very good favors that I've watched it the day after I watched Dr. Strange. Antman is a really visually creative movie that manages all the thrilling spectacle that fell flat on its face in that movie.
The good guys are more relatable, the bad guy is less of a cipher than Mads Mikkelsen's completely forgettable "dude with silly facepaint" villain. Much less contrived plot and even jokes that landed more than not. I wouldn't say it's a 10/10 or anything, but it's one of the best Marvel movies to date for sure. I borrowed 3 super hero movies from my sister this weekend, so I've got one left to watch. Justice League is next... kinda trying to expect as little as possible. |

I've gone to the movies alone a few times but overall I try to avoid that and at least go with my sister if my friends don't have money. It's embarrassing to go alone.
