I remember once going to the movies and my friend and his wife insisted we don't get anything to eat ... when we got in, as it turned out, they had cheesecake, sausages and gin on them. A weird combination but hey, best movie meal I remember.
I guess to be fair, these nachos they sell at the movies in Poland .. they're pretty good, though I'd bet they cause 15 different kinds of cancer, and they're usually more expensive than the movie ticket, so fck them.

Anyone been able to catch 2001 in theaters? I know it's been re-released recently but there's no way in fucking hell it's coming anywhere near me. I don't know who to blame so obviously I'll just blame Trump.

I haven't seen a more dreadful film in a long while. Probably not since I watched The Babadook some time ago. This director knows how to maintain extreme tension, and whoever he is I'm intrigued with whatever he does next.

Don't watch any trailers. Go in cold. It's on Netflix so you have no excuse. Up there with this decade's best.

Watched Doctor Strange yesterday. For such a highly praised movie, it sure is a bland experience. Not much of a story, paper thin characters, the usual Marvel movie schtick with shoehorning dumb jokes where they don't belong.

The special effects were generally just a bunch of sterile CGI doodles with no weight to them. Many of the action scenes just felt like unrelatable white noise. The "clever" way in which Doctor Strange defeated the limitlessly powerful interdimensional being reminded me of a much funnier scene in a certain episode of Duck Tales.

Bad movie! No cookie for you!

Doctor Strange wouldn't even want your gross cookies anyways.

I get the feeling you go to the movies alone.

I don't. Which means I get to watch lots of movies in the cinema that I would never have picked if I went alone. Maybe going alone isn't such a bad idea?
