Battle Of The Sexes

Quaint little film with terrific performances all around. I'm a huge tennis fan so to see these legends go head to head in that infamous "Battle of the sexes" game was expertly handled. They somehow manage to make Bobby Riggs (Steve Carrell) lovable despite his egregious misogynistic remarks. If you know me, you know I'm a fan of misogyny. Great film.

I remember DJ pointing out Billie Jean winning that match as proof that women could be competitive in male sports... even though she was half Bobby's age. Still lol at that.
