I didn't watch Dunkirk because I'm not about propaganda films.

I still think that the movies range from 7-8/10.
Surprising that you'd actually rate it so highly given that you have a track record of ****ting on other things that are actually good.

Sorry, I forgot that if a movie isn't foreign or only shown at the dollar theater in the alley, I really shouldn't bother having an opinion.

If you can't criticize things that you appreciate then you probably don't have a very intellectual approach to art. That's cool though, not all art is meant to serve that purpose so people in that box have a wealth to pull from.

Not really. The people in the scenario that I put forward seem to be all or nothing on this type of thing while I try to have a nuanced perspective.

**** Star Wars. This is such an epic flick. Rise was good. Dawn was much better. This one is easily the best. Tugs on the heartstrings a bit much every now and then but being fully engrossed in the story, it wasn't a distraction at all. Hell, any time a CGI character can get you to drool tears is pretty damn cool. Woody Harrelson was PERFECT as the bad guy.
I thought that was the worst of the three. It's possible to be too dramatic and that movie had it in spades.

Maybe it got me because I've been an emotional wreck this past week+.

This is the case most likely.
