For Red Dragon watch Manhunter. It was the original version of the book and is a Michael Mann film. It is horribly dated in parts but is one of my favourite Horror films although it is a psychological thriller TBH. Far far superior to the car crash that was Red Dragon.

One of my childhood favorites. Found it in the $5 bin at Walmart and decided to buy it. It's a good story and it made me remember how much I loved the score when I was a kid. |
Don Bluth is one of the most gifted animators in the world, I grew up on a lot of his films, Land Before Time, All Dogs go to Heaven, American Tail. He also worked on Disney films like Robin Hood and Pete's Dragon and the video games Dragon's Lair and Space Ace.
He's currently working on a big screen version of Dragon's Lair, I'm looking forward to it. |
Land Before Time ftw, classic. Not the sequels though, apparently there have been twelve. You can't recreate that hand-drawn animation with digital techniques really.
American Tail was good but I preferred Fievel Goes West as a kid :D |
Oh man, Land Before Time was amazing. I don't think I've seen that since I was 8.

I just watched Pineapple Express and Saw 5...I love the Saw movies for some reason...PE was very funny I thought...now I am watching the British vesion of the Office(i know, not a movie) but I rented the whole set...I like it and it is not as much like the American version which I do like as I thought...but I tend to like British humour more than American humor.

Just watched Kika and deemed it enjoyable enough but perhaps dragged a little? Anyway, I'm a bit of a sucker for Almodovar's films so it was all good. I'm also intent upon watching Fellini's 8 1/2 later if I can manage it...
