I was looking forward to a lawsuit/payout.

Disney would just like to comment on that...

Roadhouse. A definite must see about once every 5 years.

Julie Michaels for the ultimate 80s win.

Person: Hey, do you wanna watch a movie?

Me: Sure. What do you wanna watch?

Person: I don't know. You pick.

Me: How 'bout Roadhouse?

Person: Ew. Roadhouse sucks.

Just watched "Get Out".

:yikes:

One crazy ass movie man.

Spoiler for Spoilers:
Starts out just a little weird, and then just keeps getting creepier and creepier, and then it's just flat out bonkers and a bit terrifying.
Just hit me that at the end the crazy ****s calls the maid grandma and and the handyman grandpa. Obviously the crazy surgeon had transplanted the grandparent's brains prior to them dying. The TSA cop was a freaking hoot.

Loved that movie, especially the ending. Never has a Nat Turner-style brutal massacre of an entire family of white racists been so satisfying. I question my motives as a douchey white guy for actively cheering during that whole part, but **** it it ruled.

I last watched ITS A WONDEFUL LIFE (1946) on VHS :)

Saw "Molly's Game" on Xmas Day, and it was really good. Not gonna spoil for anyone looking to go see it, but kind of has me wondering who some of the protected names were.

Thinking I'm gonna see "The Shape Of Water" today. It's either that or Jumanji, and even though the latter looks like it'd be hilarious, I'm hearing great things about the former.

I was surprised by this movie. Jordan Peele was always the dude I grew up with on MadTV, never thought he'd be making a movie that would in the discussion as one of the better movies made in the year it was released. I saw it twice in theaters myself.

This film (and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) are hands down the best films this year. This fucking film fucked me up so bad. Anyone remotely interested in art-house films needs to see this. As far as Yorgos Lanthimo's films go, this is his best effort. Dogtooth, Alps, and The Lobster are all brilliant, but this is his masterpiece.
