Then he starts suffering from extreme paranoia and compulsion. The doctor tells him and his wife that he's going to need to be institutionalized but says they can go on their annual short vacation first. The impending storm at the very end represents what he, his wife, and his daughter are about to face together when they return home and he gets put away.


Such a heartbreaking story.

Managed to squeeze in a second film for the year this afternoon, (the first was Trainspotting 2 purely for the love of Underworld).

Loving Vincent was visually striking, and I was delighted when the opening credits revealed that Clint Mansell composed the score.
