I also saw Rogue One in the theater with a few other people. I liked some things about it, but I can't really understand the idea that it's better than The Force Awakens (not that that one was too great), because Rogue One really feels like the story is kind of haphazardly put together. Especially in the last half. There's clearly several things missing from the script, leaving some scenes oddly unresolved. The last quarter or third of the movie is just a big, tedious Michael Bay action scene with hilariously overdramatic death scenes of minor characters. Oh no! Not big Hawaian guy! He was my favorite!
Don't get me started on those two weird looking CGI resurrected actors. |

Carrie Fisher was still alive when Rogue One was released as it was released December 16th and Carrie died on December 27th. |

^Have you seen Circle? Fun enough watch in the same sort of vein.

Tombstone. Still my fave western even though it borrows (steals?) so heavily from Silverado.
Mike and I can ape this scene to a T. I play Ringo, him, Holliday. You really need to watch the entire flick to fully appreciate this scene.

Awesome movie. But I have the same problem with it as I do with "There Will Be Blood".
Characters like Plainview (nod, nod, wink, wink), and Little Bill, simply wouldn't have survived in the old west. Someone would have shot them in the back for being such dicks. Same could be said for Holliday, but he was a bad mother****er who was insanely lethal with a gun. And also kinda charming in a weird way. Splitting hairs here. All GREAT movies.
