It was an interesting film to watch. I personally found the narrative to be confusing. As i said, im going to watch it again so as to fully grasp it.

Bleach IMO makes up for it's shonen cliches with it's execution, IMO it's the only really good fighting shonen out there, I really don't care about the similarities to Dragon Ball Z that people keep pointing out, I'm not a fan of DBZ so I really don't care.

But Bleach is only unoriginal in it's formula, it's still a show I really love and enjoy and I really don't care how many times it's been done before, I don't think it's ever been done as well.

Taken looks like the same sh*tty thriller I've already seen 30 times under various titles, the whole "Trying to protect my family" genre that Harrison Ford has made a living off of for the past 20 years. It dosen't help that it stars Liam Neeson, who mysterously forgot how to act after Schindler's List, and that whiney bitch from Lost who should have been killed off in the first episode. That trailer is one of the most laughable things I've seen in some time.

Anyway, nice attempt at trolling there, but you fail.

This was a very interesting and unique film. It is a visual and auditory experience. I am a massive fan of Glenn Gould but this film would appeal to anyone who likes music.

I think it's my personal favorite of his, usually I find there's too much emphasis on the story and mind-fuck plot twists in his books, A Scanner Darkly actually has well-developed characters and is probably the most honest appraisal of drug culture that I've read.

The King and Queen of Wood (Reeves and Ryder) totally ****ed up a potentially good film though. I've seen it a few times on telly now and the animation-over-live-action thing seems more and more like a gimmick

Yeah, I don't really trust Linklater that much as a director. Waking Life was a steaming pretentious piece of shit and relied almost entirely on that rotoscoping technique. I felt like the acting in A Scanner Darkly more or less balanced out though, I thought the supporting characters were all pretty terrific.

yeah consistent he ain't. Dazed and Confused >> the rest.

Downey and Harrellson didn't quite save 'Scanner..' for me but it's worth watching for them if nothing else @ anyone reading
