Definitely Aronofsky's worst movie but at least he was trying to do something a little different. It's always weird when Hollywood decides to enlist oddball indie-type directors to make blockbusters. Just like David Lynch with Dune.

I didn't mind it, I actually thought it was pretty good and Aronofsky seems like a brilliant director to tackle a story like that. No where near The Wrestler or Black Swan but decent nonetheless.

I just didn't get the Transformer-like angels. I mean, I'm all for liberal interpretation of the greatest work of fiction of our time, but where does it even mention such a thing? And was that supposed to be Cain who stowed aboard? I watched a two part BBC dramatisation that was a million times better. Crowe was ok, for Crowe, but much of the acting was pretty meh I found; couldn't pick out one standout .... oh wait. That dove at the end. He knew where it was at.

Dunno if it qualifies as a movie, but just watched The Wizard of Lies, directed by Levinson. DeNiro ****ing kills it as Bernie Madoff, but Pfeiffer is well worth watching as his wife. Excellent dramatisation.

It doesn't count if you start at 100

Finally got around to see Wonder Woman. I had mixed feelings watching it. Feeling like there wasn't enough action but I guess they needed some breathing room to tell the story along with adding in a romance subplot.

I feel a tad bit stronger, but pretty much yes. Solid B.

The Godfather.

Almost 3 hours long and you wish it could keep going. (not a big fan of GFII - great movie but not an equal).

Coolest thing about watching it every 10 years or so is seeing actors like Pacino, Duvall, and Caan so damn young and before they became icons.

I last watched RAMBO III (1988) on VHS :)

Not as good as the first and 2nd @ all......

Marlon Brandon wiped the floor in that film.

Totally agreed. My favorite scene. When he brings Sonny to the funeral director (who owes him a favor) and he emotes his anguish just with his face, is simply mind blowing. How does anyone do that?

10 Cloverfield Lane.

Crazy premise and great performance by John Goodman. The ending is such a total trip.

Plus, always been a fan of Mary ever since Live Free or Die Hard.
