Definitely Aronofsky's worst movie but at least he was trying to do something a little different. It's always weird when Hollywood decides to enlist oddball indie-type directors to make blockbusters. Just like David Lynch with Dune.

I didn't mind it, I actually thought it was pretty good and Aronofsky seems like a brilliant director to tackle a story like that. No where near The Wrestler or Black Swan but decent nonetheless.

Dunno if it qualifies as a movie, but just watched The Wizard of Lies, directed by Levinson. DeNiro ****ing kills it as Bernie Madoff, but Pfeiffer is well worth watching as his wife. Excellent dramatisation.

Finally got around to see Wonder Woman. I had mixed feelings watching it. Feeling like there wasn't enough action but I guess they needed some breathing room to tell the story along with adding in a romance subplot.

I feel a tad bit stronger, but pretty much yes. Solid B.

The Godfather.
Almost 3 hours long and you wish it could keep going. (not a big fan of GFII - great movie but not an equal). Coolest thing about watching it every 10 years or so is seeing actors like Pacino, Duvall, and Caan so damn young and before they became icons.
