Definitely!!! Him and his brother have been doing amazing things for years now.
Do me a favor and read the book (its pretty short) before seeing the new movie.

Noah, with Russel Crowe. Man it was bad. Oh for the days when Hollywood did biblical epics like The Ten Commandments or King of Kings....

Did you know that it holds a special place in cinema history that only two other films have achieved?
Won the academy award for best actor, best actress, best film, best director, and best screenplay. Silence of the Lambs and It Happened One Night are the other two. Just realized that three of my favorite recent movies all have something in common. Looper, The Edge of Tomorrow, and Sicario.

Latest I saw was Angel's Egg. I went into it with lowered expectations due to reviews and wound up getting blown away. Stunningly beautiful visuals and atmosphere. At several points I was completely immersed in a meditative state within the film. I've been putting it on now when I go to sleep, which is something I never thought of doing with any film before. It reminds me of dreaming. I never got the feeling that the story was sparse or lacking, it just gave the interactions and exchanges more weight if anything. I'm still not completely sure how to interpret the whole thing and I don't think I'll ever come to any conclusions, but that's just another plus for me. Glad I put off watching it for so long so I could soak it in at a time when I'd appreciate this kind of film more, but now I'm sad. I need more like this.
