Finally got around to watching Spotlight. Man, what a powerful flick. And such great acting by all of the main characters.

Spoiler for Spoiler:
The part where she interviews the ex-priest on his porch and he comes right out and admits to abusing boys, but that it was ok because he didn't derive pleasure from it.......

The last scene with the Spotlight phones ringing non-stop with more victims coming forward after the story broke was the perfect ending.

Weird, I thought I had seen you mention it before. One of my favourite dialogue driven movies if I'm being honest.

So ever since imdb took out their message boards, I've had a void in my life since I used to always take a look at them to get a good idea of common thoughts on the movie. Does anyone know of any alternatives that have popped up in its place?

Ya, I guess I did see it once before. Some movies make a much bigger second impression on me than the first.

Oh, and Rotten Tomatoes.

Spoiler for Idk mang:
I remember her saying that and was hoping for something insightful to come out of that but David just decides to kill them off without What's permission. I just don't get why the creators would make a virus that was also harmful to them. You would think they would be immune to it but I guess the writers needed to move the plot along.

I love that discussion, RT just isn't the same . It's my review resource though.

I didn't realize they got rid of their boards! That's actually the first internet forum I was ever a part of.

Haha, same. The Godfather was a sure thing when it came to rage induced reactions
