Finally got round to watching Little Miss Sunshine today.
I had virtually no idea what the film was about beforehand, despite the fact it's been knocking around for ages.

Brilliantly funny. I can't remember laughing so much at a film in years.
The sequence with the dodgy car horn, the police and the dead Grandad in the boot was genuinely hilarious.
The talent show was a different kettle of fish. Funny for all the wrong reasons.
The pressure put on some of those young kids in the real life talent shows has me seriously questioning your collective intelligence.
You Americans are fucked up beyond belief...seriously.

The soundtrack is Devotchka. For me, it made the movie. Get the album if you haven't already (How it ends).

Sorry, I'm not on my computer, but I figure a simple blog search could get you what you need...

I'd say the fact that a movie mocking those talent shows is far more mainstream over here than the talent shows themselves should give you some idea of where most Americans stand on the issue. Anyway, great movie! The car horn scene is classic.

It's not just those talent shows though is it?
I'd say your religious maniacs are as equally crazy as the ones that flew those planes into the twin towers.
Don't try and avoid having your fair share of nut cases Jansoon.
Admit it...you're all stark raving mad...

You're right about that being a great movie.
Funniest film I've seen for a good while.
