also you should try cache. idk what your stance is on foreign films and it might be a little too slow paced for you but i think it's definitely worth the shot.

I was thinking about mentioning Funny Games as well. ****ing amazing film.

it's in my top 5 horror films. american > original just for the cast since they're essentially the same films. everything i've seen from Haneke has just been so got dang good.

And if both versions are equal then watching it in your native language is probably better, cause you don't have to deal with an imperfect translation.
