Get Out is a must see.

I had to rush and catch a matinee of it because I felt like too many people were casually talking about it on Facebook and I didn't want to get spoiled.

The social commentary isn't beating you over the head the entire movie but it's definitely there. Great psychological thriller.

Truth. Napster should've been a good enough foreshadowing for that though.

ABSO****INGLUTELY

I've been disagreeing with my dad about that for years and it's good to see some validation.

Yeah not sure why I forgot to mention Get Out as well, saw it on the weekend and really enjoyed it. I went into that movie expecting it to be ruined by ham fisted social commentary, that's the vibe I got from the trailer, and that vibe stuck with me until a certain point in the movie where I realized that I fell right into the director's trap and something much more clever than I had anticipated was going down.

Get Out is not what it looks like, it's a pleasant surprise.

And let's not forget Dave Mustaine.

I got dragged to it, but was pleasantly surprised. It had plenty of great plot twists. The ending was well worth the wait also. Decent build up with some great character development.

Ja I might try to catch it in theaters this weekend, or at the very least torrent it. I'm always down for well made horror.

I read an article where Peele said that this is the first in a series of movies that he plans to release over the next 10 years or so that touches on "social demons".
