I had missed it - thanks for re-sharing. And as for Eva, you had me at, "bizarro sci-fi, nihilistically dark psychological themes, Waking Life-esque scenes of existential bizarreness and demented religious iconography."

Well, that's reassuring. I'll need just one more person to have a proper fanclub.

One of those that I keep meaning to watch. The animation looks insane.

Hey, moms have good taste! They can appreciate dreamy sea captain ghosts, at the very least:

What will you do when La La Land leaves theaters?

One of my favorite films. I love it, my daughter loves it, and my mom loved it to such a degree that I was given the middle name Lucia. Don't even get me started on Sexy Rexy. "What we missed, Lucia. What we both missed." I think Joseph L. Mankiewicz was an underrated producer and very intelligent screenwriter.

I went to see Split yesterday and it was so good. I love the twist at the end and I'm glad that I didn't pay attention to the naysayers that said that it falls apart near the end.

Also I feel like it did a respectful job of dealing with DID it wasn't as exploitative as some people were worried about only based off of the trailer. If they actually watch the movie instead of complaining based off of a trailer they will see that it was handled with respect to the disorder.

I'm assuming "some people" are whiny bitches of the Tumblr variety?
