I just finished watching the first four, and yes they are. 3 was just decent, but 1 was pretty fantastic, 2 was slightly less fantastic, and Bride of Chucky was ****ing sick. The dynamic between the two dolls was perfect. I never thought those movies would end up having worth.

The Wailing (2016) Excellent Korean horror film. It has a really unique blend of horror elements, like zombification, ghosts, and demons, among other things. It's a serious contender for my favourite film of 2016, I'll have to watch that and The Witch again to see. The story basically follows a police officer as he deals with all of these wild events that occur around his village that start to affect his family. 5/5 I think Janzsoon, bob., Exo, and Chula would like this one a lot.

Dude, The Conjuring has ALL the jump scares. Obviously there's more to it than jump scares but I still almost jumped out of my skin more than I have for any film I can remember.

I haven't seen it yet (possession films are a tough sell for me), but Drag Me to Hell had some really good jump scares.
