I remember seeing that and thinking how dumb it was that every character sounded so smart. You're uneducated hicks who may or may not be able to read and write, and yet you sound like ****ing Old West Shakespeare? Kinda destroyed suspension of disbelief.

I ****ing hate John Wayne and any generation stupid enough to think he's any better than Sylvester Stallone or Arnold Schwarzenegger (omg aside from missing one "g" I actually spelled that right first try).

Huh? The only two characters that came across as educated were La Boeuf and Mattie. The rest, although displaying period correct manners, came across as pretty uneducated.
