Have you seen Chocolat? I love that movie...Juliette Binoche was fabulous. I never get tired of that movie, TBH.

You must see 'Cyrano De Bergerac'. A fantastic love story.

Kes - Ken Loach

A bit formulaic like all of his film but a good watch all the same. What accent was that I wonder. I wouldn't have understood half of it if it weren't for the subtitles...lol. 7/10

It's called English FFS. and considering it was made in 1969 it is anything BUT formulaic. In truth the accent is from yorkshire which is North.

The Spirit-
horrible
I disliked Frank Miller before this, but wow, he still managed to underwhelm.

The acting is awkward, the script wouldn't be acceptable by comic standards, and the pacing and storytelling (what little there is) is all over the place.

Miller tries so hard to be stylish and to keep a comic aesthetic that its hard to take what your watching seriously.

Its like Micheal Bay tried to make Sin City.

Hopefully he saved most of his effort for the watchmen..

You should read the book. It's a classic.

A Kestrel for a Knave by Barry Hines.

I dunno, I've already sort of experienced the story and I don't really like to rehash things. :/
