I use the 1-4 star rating btw.

Ninja Scroll - ****

This is the best action movie I've ever seen, seriously. It just happens to be an anime.

My favorite parts have to be the scenes with that big stone guy, he tears a guys arms off, then he rapes this chick, who lets him do it because she poisons everyone she f*cks, and he eventually gets his head cut in half, it's f*cking awesome.

Akira - ****

Amazing. I wish the characters were explored a little more. But I can overlook that, this is an amazing piece of animated filmmaking.

Awesome movie...what do you think of Wicked City? My brother let me borrow that one but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

The book is very different but awesome...a more accessible read than American Psycgo which is purposely hard to read imo. I read this one in a four hour straight shot. But I absolutely love Bret Easton Ellis...in a totally plutonic way...lol. All of his books up until Lunar Park which although the book was not that good will make a great movie.

As for the latest movie I have watched...I got Eragon from my daughter's room and it was OK.

Classic!
They just got the rights to make a live action version, which is totally going to suck!!!

I saw an Advanced Screening of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last night.
It was great, my second favorite by David Fincher. It's one of the best movies of the year, right behind Slumdog Millionaire. 9/10

I really enjoyed reading American Psycho, but that's all I've read from Bret Easton Ellis, but I'll defiantly check this book out.

I watched this more or less to get a taste of Jonze's directing before Where The Wild Things Are comes out, and it turned out to be really good movie, though I'm not sure if that had anything to do with Jonze. The story came together in the end very nicely, even though Cage plays lead =P.

^You should see Being John Malkovich (if you haven't already). Its also Jonze/Kaufman, and in my opinion a better film overall.
