Yeah, I enjoyed it. The little twist near the end that's supposed to make us hate the vet, didn't really do it's job all that well. I was still sympathetic to his plight.

Great movie. Ann Rice was pissed that they cast Tom Cruise as Lestat, thinking that he couldn't pull it off.

Once she saw the movie she paid for a full page ad to apologize and praise Cruise's take on the character and how well he pulled it off.

Have you read the novel?

If yes, you have to read "The Tale of the Body Thief" - Probably the best of the sequels. Ridiculously great story.

The Tale of the Body Thief was alright, but had nothing on The Vampire Lestat, Queen of the Damned, or Memnoch the Devil. Of course I don't know if I'd want to go back and read those now, as Anne Rice's writing style is ridiculous and she only knows how to write characters who like Mozart.

I'm still having a hard time understanding Destroying Daisy. I don't no, I feel as though the baby mutilation genre has completely lost it's punch and is becoming as cliche as the found footage ghost movies. Getting so sick of the movie industry and it's lack of originality. Everything is either a comic book movie or a movie based on literature, nobody has original stories to tell. They see the success of one concept and that take that idea and run it into it's fiery piss stained grave to the point where we can't even appreciate the original movie that first toyed with said ruined concept. I'm sick of it, I'm so ****ing sick of it. The whole idea of baby mutilation was great until everybody jumped on the bandwagon and pushed it to it's limit completely destroying any love I had with the idea. So I feel really bad for SLC Punk 2, the real pioneers of baby mutilation movies who got completely ripped off by bull**** movies like Destroying Daisy and that corny ass Meet The Fockers franchise. **** you Ben Stellar you giant eared freak I'll rip your jaw open with owl eggs and watch you choke and die.

Agree on Rice's writing style. It's an acquired taste for sure. And all of that series was great. I just really dug the premise of Body Thief a lot.

Spoiler for Spoiler:
The way Lestat explains the experience of his first crap after becoming human again is hilarious and almost had me in tears.

The Usual Suspects

Such a great flick that I have to watch it over again every few years.

Did ya know that the dialogue during the police line-up scene was improvised?
Each actor was given free reign to say the line any way they wanted. The other actors laughing was genuine because they were hearing everyone's version for the first time.

Movie mistake: When they all fly to LA we see a shot of a plane coming towards you and then flying overhead, followed immediately of a shot of the plane flying away and getting ready to land. IN the first shot the plane has 4 engines. In the second it only has 2.
