I don't see what the hate is about. It's not great by any means, but it's certainly not horrible. Plus, I thought the Minions were funnier in this one that in Despicable Me.

Also, lava lamp gun. My face never lit up so strongly and so quickly when I saw that. I WANT A LAVA LAMP GUN!

Despicable Me was horrible, I assume that the spinoff is as well.

IMO, Despicable Me was almost great. Almost. I like it a tiny bit less every time I see it. Don't think I've seen it in more than a year. As far as the villain-turned hero theme went, Megamind was better.

Never saw despicable me. Didn't even know that minions came from it til the end of the movie... and the movie was god awful. The humour was basically like someone said, "How many British references can we put into a movie that Americans will get." And they put every single one in. All with terrible timing.

Watched Adventureland last night. Funny and sweet coming of age story set in 1987. One of those turn your brain off and just enjoy it kind of movies.

Excellent sountrack too!

And of course there's a guy fixing tiles or whatever in the bathroom when I'm about to **** myself. I'm getting sick and tired of having to duct tape my ******* shut.
