I liked Blue Ruin when I watched it, but I was a little bit disappointed because of how talked up it was. Still, a pretty solid flick. I need to see Green Room ASAP.

I'm with the crowd that agrees Blue Ruin is superior, but that Green Room is solid. What's the next color this guys gonna make next? Red Rocket? Amiritefellas?

Bone Tomahawk
Cool movie. One of the most brutal and gruesome death scenes in recent memory and Richard Jenkins is amazing as always. I just liked how subtle some of the violence was in this. No big swirling cinematic musical cues. I enjoyed this. The Invitation I'm a sucker for these kind of small slow burners. Reminded me a lot of Coherence which is a better film but this was still engaging and suspenseful. Holy sh*t does that dude look like Tom Hardy. Great ending to this too. |

If you're into cinema at all, you should check out this video. Exo showed it to me awhile back and it totally blew my mind and made me hold Drive on an even higher plateau.

Watched it for the umpteenth time because my friend's wife hadn't seen it. This is the Citizen Kane of movies and in turn, GOAT.

Watched Apocalypse Now. Completely blown away. Everything about it is just beyond. Absolutely amazing. Humans made this?
Watched Blue Ruin as well. Pretty good. Green Room was more intense and unpredictable for me, but they're both fantastic. That's pretty cool. |
