The Shallows

Woman drops out of med school after mom dies and goes soul surfing in mexico.....stumbles upon a dead whale and a really fucking pissed off shark

chaos reigns.

loved it....an absolute blast of a film with tons of laugh out loud shark kills....the ending is incredible stupid but the rest of film makes up for it....the shark looks great...seriously just a fun ride.

best shark death since Jaws the Revenge

I went to see this and I'm so pissed at myself. I dozed off for like 10 mins and missed the ****ing conclusion. I wake up to see the aftermath and everything is honky dory. WTF! Now I have to watch it again. Suffered through most of the movie and don't see how she gets off of the bloody rock.

Green Room

I don't feel like doing a full write up but holy sh*t this was f*cking awesome. Brutal, well acted, well scripted, and I forgot to breath for like 90% of it. Shame what happened to Anton Yelchin. He was great in this. Tarantino WISHES he could make a film this violent without sacrificing story. Totally my favorite film of this year.

5/5

Ultra-violence and Tarantino comparisons? Been watching Ichi the Killer so this sounds like a nice movie to watch next.

I was kinda thinking about watching Audition next actually. As a casual Japophile, Takeshi Miike has been on my list of **** to get into for a while.

Make sure to watch Gozu, Visitor Q and Happiness Of The Katakuris.
Thank me later.
Those three are about as insane as Ichi (maybe even more so) and just so much ****ing fun.

Try to masturbate during "the scene". If you can pull it off my respect for you will go through the roof.
