I recently saw the movie Sukiyaki Western Django (by Takashi Mike) and I would have to say it is definitely one of my top movies now, without a doubt.
It's a Japanese Western, samurai, gang war, high noon, six guns and samurai sword theatrical extravaganza! It is wonderful to look at visually and the subtle referencing to all sorts of samurai/cowboy movies makes it a great film for someone who likes samurai/cowboy movies. I can't really say enough about it.

The narrative sequence of this movie really ****s with you, literally told backwards, in little pieces.. which plays together with the plot of the movie (main character Leonard has no short term memory.) This is a great example of post-modern film. It lags at times, but full of 'ah-ha' moments. 7/10 |

You think? I've only seen it once. I was bored the entire way through. Apart from the scene where they are filming and there is that ****ed up creature standing behind the girl - that was cool. Otherwise, . Maybe I'll have to see it again!

Haha, me and my boyfriend (we watched this together) are both big Ginsberg fans, when he came on screen my boyfriend squeeled like a little girl. "OHMIGODIT'SGINS!" |

I saw Bolt a few days ago. I really enjoyed it, and it was nice to see Disney finally put out a worthwhile movie again. This one feels more like a Pixar movie than a Disney movie, not surprising since it's Disney's first movie with some Pixar head honcho they recently hired, but that's a good thing because the old Disney schtick has gotten really stale at this point.

I thought the creatures were kinda cool, sorta a mix between Gollum and Nosferateu. I really liked the ending where it turns out she was still back down in the cave surrounded by those creatures.
