Went and saw Seth Rogen's new movie "The Night Before" because I'm a fanboy that loves stoner comedies where I can shut my mind off for 90 minutes. It did a fine job and entertaining my date and I but it was a little uneven...at points the movie breaks up the three main characters and Rogen's solo sections are WAY more funny than Joseph Gordon-Levitt's or Anthony Mackie's. In fact I wasn't too sold on Mackie's part at all and it was definitely the weak point of the film, his entire character arc was lame as hell.
Overall though it was a good comedy and certain Rogen scenes had me in stitches, definitely recommended if you like his brand of humor.

Finally saw Man of Steel last night. Awesome visuals and special FX but overall not a very good movie.
Also watched Remember the Titans for about the 10th time the other night. Definitely a guilty pleasure flick for me.

I've never really been into comic books, but I thought I might give some animated films of the genre a chance.
Just finished watching Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1. I liked it a lot. Next up is part two. After that my list is (in no particular order): Batman: Assault On Arkham Wonder Woman (2009) Green Lantern: First Flight Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox Justice League: War Justice League: Doom Superman/Batman: Apocalypse Hulk Vs. Justice League: The New Frontier Any comments and additions from you nerds appreciated.

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker is also superb but I'd recommend watching at least some of that series first to get a good grip with the characters and setting Oh and Batman: Sub Zero isn't too shabby either but not quite on the same level as these other three I've brought up
