Trainspotting (1997)

Kinda thing turning you up&down, kinda gatecrasher if you want. Another type of dystopia based not on the existing of the whole society but on the several miserable lives of miserable people, you know. The most terrifying thing is that some moment you beging to identify yourself with them, you really don't understand what evil there is in what they do.
Sure it's more than noted yet I've to say I was completely impressed by that thing.
"Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a ### big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers..."
Highly recommend to see it!

Did anyone see The Visit?
M. Night Shamalamadingdong is mostly a punchline now, but some say this movie is fun.
I'm still hesitating to check it out, because the protagonists are apparently kids, which is usually very annoying.

My only real complaint about the movie (besides some of the dated acting) is that after the chestburster scene, the movie slightly drops in quality.

Did ya know that Ridley Scott purposely didn't tell the actors about the gush of blood that was coming during that scene? The reaction from the actors (most notably Veronica Cartwright) was entirely spontaneous and real.

Caught both One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Dog Day Afternoon last night on AMC. Both from 1975 and both 100% uncensored. F-bombs were dropping left and right. The level of acting in both movies was simply ridiculous from everyone involved. Hate to use a cliche but they just don't make them like that anymore.

Yes. Because you've pointed it out before.

Redundancy, i.e.; old age

Salt Lake City Punk. There's a sequel coming out soon too. The movie was extremely good. Some of the camera shots were weird, but I can understand that because it's an indie film. From the late 90's nonetheless. I have no idea how any indie film editors worked with tapes, Bam made it look easy in cKy.
