The Houses October Built - Found footage flick I stumbled-on on Netflix, the story follows a group of friends making a film on these "haunts" that have grown popular during Halloween, namely the more extreme, even underground ones - word is some of these places aren't on the up-and-up and are using actual body parts and employing unsavory characters such as murderers. I was more than surprised by this film and highly recommend it, especially with Halloween drawing near.

Just bought all four Alien movies for about $20, and tonight I'm gonna smoke a bowl before watching the first one. Don't know if I have enough left for a second, but I'll try to scrounge up enough to get my head right again just before the chestburster scene.

Just watched Spike Jonze's Her. Outstanding. Joaquin Phoenix was fantastic carrying 90% of the film as the only major actor, much like Sam Rockwell in Moon.

The movie inspired a number of thoughtful questions and a spirited discussion between my fiance and myself.

An instant favorite.
