SPY

Forced myself not to nap this afternoon and wanted some cheap laughs and this movie delivered big time. McCarthy's best roll to date. And Jason Stratham plays a hilarious over the top version of his normal movie character.

"Ready" the last film I saw yesterday.

Like actual brick and mortar locations? I haven't seen one of those in years, I thought they were extinct.

^This. I was actually pretty upset when they closed down because I used to rent games/movies all the time. So many better resources nowadays though.

In most places they are, considering Netflix and Redbox decimated the game. But there's a few big locations in my area.

Nothing to take home to your mother, but it did create some intense moments and very well acted with Jude Law and the rest of the ensemble.

This on the other hand blew my fucking mind. Pacino puts in some of the best he's ever done, and Robin Williams acting serious is some of the best film ever captured. Not to mention the story and direction by a younger Chris Nolan. Can't beat this film.

I still haven't gotten around to Insomnia. I should totally do that. Been in my queue for years.

It's worth it just to watch Robin Williams being creepy as ****.

And to see Pacino losing his marbles both from lack of sleep and fear of getting caught. Really good flick.

The Houses October Built - Found footage flick I stumbled-on on Netflix, the story follows a group of friends making a film on these "haunts" that have grown popular during Halloween, namely the more extreme, even underground ones - word is some of these places aren't on the up-and-up and are using actual body parts and employing unsavory characters such as murderers. I was more than surprised by this film and highly recommend it, especially with Halloween drawing near.

Just bought all four Alien movies for about $20, and tonight I'm gonna smoke a bowl before watching the first one. Don't know if I have enough left for a second, but I'll try to scrounge up enough to get my head right again just before the chestburster scene.
