Lost in Translation.

This seems to be an extremely trendy movie, and I'm still trying to figure out why. There were only a few things that made this movie watchable, a big part of that being Bill Murray's extremely dry (but incredibly funny) sense of humor. Overall I think the idea is nice but I really don't care for Sofia Coppola's directing.

I wouldn't exactly throw it out as a bad movie. At least the soundtrack is nice.

I felt pretty much the same about Lost in Translation. It was an okay movie but I don't get what the huge deal was about it.

I'm going to guess it's because Scarlett Johansson is in her undies half the movie. Psh.

I saw the new Bond movie last night... It was exactly what you'd expect from a Bond movie and nothing else. That's probably a good thing, but the real story was the previews. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I cannot wait for Star Trek. The trailer was absolutely incredible. And me being a JJ Abrams fanboy doesn't hurt either.

I can't wait to hear the trekkies bitch because they are changing and updating some things about certain characters...I like Star Trek but it is not a religion for me...I don't pick apart every little continuity problem. I guess you can say I am not a fundamentalist when it comes to Star Trek...Now Star Wars on the other hand...I am a Simon Pegg fanboy so I can't wait to see him as Scotty.

And the dude playing Spok, Sylar from the TV show Heroes, is a great up and coming actor imo.

(I also didn't get the whole Lost In Translation hype... boring to the extreme!)

I started watching Sideways, but fell asleep twice..

Maybe a tad too long and some ropey CGI early on in the film aside, this was'nt a bad little horror film at all. Devastating ending too.
