Just watched Taxi Driver for the first time. Good stuff.

Watched Blueberry ('Renegade' in some regions) again recently. It's not a great film in all honesty but it's visually striking and the ayahuasca trip scene is fantastic:

Watched The Proposition recently too. Fantastic movie with a great soundtrack:

Watched The Grand Budapest Hotel today and loved it. It did drag in a few places but overall Anderson doing what he does best. And actors obviously love the guy considering the amount of A-list talent he can get - even if it's for tiny bit parts. Bill Murray and Tilda Swinton each probably had less than 2 minutes of screen time.

Gotta say though that Young Zero Moustafa reminded me a ton of Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite.

"Rowdy Rathore" last watched film. Fantastic film. I like the film too much.

one of my deepest darkest secrets is that i have a unrelenting love for cutesy sappy romantic movies. no idea why, its basically the opposite of who i am as a real person but i love em.

so yesterday i was hungover so why not watch some romance and stumbled on this:

i think i was drawn mostly cuz she looks like carly rae jepsen here but there was essentially no chance of me not loving this movie off the bat. kind of reminded me of that reese witherspoon/mark ruffalo movie where he sees her coma ghost but i unashamedly love that one too so. its just so dang nice

uh so if anyonme has some cutesy romance movies they want to share with me plz do. i might go on a kick

Watch In the Mood for Love. You can enjoy the cutesy bull**** while masquerading that you're watching a high minded art film (it just has nice cinematography).
