Well, if you have Netflix, it's available streaming.

I almost never watch animated movies but I decided to watch Inside Out today. I was expecting some sort of family friendly comedy but instead I shed an existential tear. I loved it.

The Cobbler

This movie has been on Netflix for a little while and although i've seen it pass by my queue a few times, I never actually sat down and watched it...until tonight. I'm a pretty big Adam Sandler fan as most people know, and seeing him in a role like this is both surprising and comforting. In the movie he runs a shoe repair shop and realizes that there's something special about him. To not really spoil anything, this movie basically uses the concept of "walking in someone elses shoes" and puts it to action. I was genuinely surprised to see how well it was done in a setting like this, and Sandler was surprisingly perfect for the role. I think the concept, the acting, and the story were all done very well to make a very nice movie experience. I would definitely watch this movie again.

You've seen Punch Drunk Love, right?

No, I haven't.

Watch it. I wish all of Sandler's films have half as quality acting as PDL.

I will make a note of it. Will return eventually with review.

Don't go into it expecting a typical Adam Sandler movie though, go into it expecting a P.T. Anderson movie.
