Have you seen the last one? It's been too long since I've seen the first two to compare them, but it was pretty solid, with a premise that was both down-to-Earth and completely absurd at the same time. I'd say it's probably the most off-the-wall of those guys' movies.

Not yet. I'll try to watch it sometime soon. Good to hear that it was good.

EDIT: Off the wall is always nice.

[QUOTE=The Batlord;1609064]So is this like one of those Superhero Movie/Date Movie/Epic Movie/Disaster Movie spoofs? I hate those things. There is absolutely no creativity involved, and even I find the humor stupid to the point of annoyance.[QUOTE]

It's supposed to be funny for some reason because it references something.
I think cracked did an article about one of those movies recently, where they pointed out that it was a comedy without a single actual joke.

Pretty much. I've lost what small amount of interest I might have had in a girl before, just because we were watching one of those movies and she found it to be legitimately funny.

It was one of those moments that really made me remember just how isolated from society you can be when you're not a moron.

Yeah, it sucks.
Not discussing music and books (and politics) and not watching movies with other people helps.
Also being somewhat drunk when in bigger company.

Sound of Noise
A group of anarchist drummers engage in a series of city-wide terrorist attacks/symphonic movements for found percussion and only a tone-deaf cop from a family of musical proteges can stop them. I loved it. It was incredibly unique, fun, clever, and full of life. And the music was amazing.

The Batlord 07-03-2015 07:05 PM

WTF?! That sounds amazing.

Frownland 07-03-2015 07:06 PM

That movie is the ****.
