Speaking of Whiplash

Birdman>Whiplash>Inherent Vice

Also watched this the other day

Goodnight, & Good Luck - George Clooney
I'm the biggest sucker for gripping, talk-y films and this has to be one of the best. The story's about a CBS reporter exposing McCarthyism for what it obviously was and his defiance towards corporate business. Good God David Strathairn blew me away, and Clooney's directing's ace.

The fault in our stars.

Cried like a little bitch, 10/10

Ive also saw X-men: Days of future past like 5 times cause HBO luvs them reruns.

I don't get how the professor is alive, according to their own story Jean killed him.
apparently kitty can take you back in time but until Wolverine appeared they never attempted going years into the past SO TELL ME who the da hell stopped Jean grey from killing the professor? No one did, so how come is still alive?

When in doubt, assume Galactus. It's served me well throughout my life.

Galactus works in mysterious ways

i thought it was lame they gave no explanation to why he is alive YET they kept the story line that Jean became the phoenix.

Given that they travel to the past in the film they could've easily said, "Yea, we went back and prevented that" but no, they never said that! that's just bad story telling.

The X-Men's continuity is fucked although I am pretty sure part of what First Class was suppose to do was wipe the events of X-Men Origins: Wolverine and X-Men: The Last Stand from the ongoing canon.

That said though I didn't find Professor X's existence the most egregious WTF moment from X-Men: Days of Future Past. I'd really like to know when Kitty Pryde acquired the mutant ability to Quantum Leap people back in time and I'd also like to know when Wolverine got to spend so much time with Quicksilver when he had literally never been mentioned at all in any of the previous X-Men movies. I mean I know Fox is in a major pissing contest with Marvel over those character rights, but it would have made a lot more sense from a story point to use the Juggernaut as they had originally written that scene for.

So Juggernaut was the one who was supposed to get Magneto out? i didn't know that but im glad they picked Quicksilver cause he was awesome in the movie.

When he appeared suddenly everyone's powers became kinda lame by comparison and though vague at least they tied him with Wolverine but Kitty's powers are never quite explained, we don't know how she got them or how they worked or who Bishop is, seriously, they skim over Bishop to give the part to logan, as if Wolverine needs more airtime.

Actually, Bishop going back in time was a cartoon thing. In the comics it was Wolverine and Kitty.

You're right. I think I was just remembering the cover from one of those issues that had them both on it.
