I'm a huge LOTR fan, but only of the films because I haven't read the books! I've only read 'The Hobbit.' I'd love to read the books eventually but I'm an English teacher and have wayy too much to read on a regular basis!

I also love the Narnia series... I read them as a kid. jack hammer you're right about the Harry Potter series being so mundane compared to these.

Have you ever seen the film 'Shadowlands' about C.S.Lewis's relationship with Joy Gresham whilst he was writing The Narnias series? A great film set within a great literary accomplishment. Ignore the useless soporific voiceover.

One of the better romantic comedies i've seen in awhile.

I haven't actually, this looks wonderful I'll have to check it out. "Where men have intellect, women have soul." "Are you trying to be offensive or just merely stupid." This quote won me :D

Thanks for the recommendation!

I've also only read The Hobbit. I can't get into the books - too much detail. The movies were also too long for me, but I watched them when I was still in middle school so maybe I should check them out again.

The last movie I watched was "Burn After Reading," which I thought was hilarious and not a waste of my time at all.

Your'e welcome. It's one of my favourite films. Warning: It's a tear jerker.

My daughter is in West Side Story so I just watched it...I still don't get Natalie Wood as a Puerto Rican...That wouldn't fly these days and rightly so.

War Inc.

And it was probably one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
