i honestly think you would all love it for the performances alone....what Turing did should be known by every human on Earth and it's a real shame that over 50 years later it is just getting attention

The Philadelphia Story, Notorious, Arsenic and Old Lace, To Catch a Thief, and North by Northwest, because Cary Grant is basically the coolest human beeing ever to walk the face of the earth. I mean, when a journalist writing an article about him sent his agent a telegram asking, "How old Cary Grant?", he responded with, "Old Cary Grant fine. How you?"

Notorious is a masterpiece. Maybe my favourite Hitchcock.

Nebraska
I'm a little late to party on this one but damn did I love this movie. Humorous, sad and poigiant with beautiful cinematography and superb performances—all of the things my favorite movies tend to have.

Blue Ruin
Gritty little revenge story in the vein of Blood Simple and very, very well done. The fact that it was a low-budget, kickstarter-funded movie makes it all the more impressive.

I loved Blue Ruin Janzy

Psycho and Notorious are incredible, but my favourite Hitchcock is still Rear Window. The way Jimmy Stewart conveys so much with just an eyebrow… Although, I have yet to see most of his flims, including Vertigo and The Birds.

I had a Hitchcock avvy when I joined back in February.

Vertigo is very good. The birds is structurally pretty similar to psycho (that is, the division between the regular would and scary **** by way of car, although the birds isn't as tight as psycho), but imo a touch overrated. Worth a watch though.
Two Hitchcock movies that I wish got more recognition are dial m for murder and rope. Neither is really obscure at all, but they often get overshadowed by movies like psycho, vertigo, rear window, the birds etc.
