So, I liked the first one. I have always love the Wayans brothers. This movie is not a great sequel. The comedy just seemed much more forced and they sort of went for the more "sex is funny" approach.

Josh always has a spot for one of those films. I call it the "Pain and Gain" spot.

I watched "In Bruges" after reading some posts about it here.

I'm not much of a movie watcher but it caught my eye after seeing the cast. I finally found out the origins of the INANIMATE FUCKING OBJECT scene, and that snow at the end was also quite beautiful. Midgets, fairytales, shootouts, dead kids and suicide.

It had its moments but overall I rate it Colin Farrell's Eyebrows/10. Would eyebrow it again.

Wow, took my daughter to night at the museum 3. I mean I pretty much knew it would be a steaming pile but it absolutely exceeded all expectations. I am offended and want my money back.

So sad it was Robin Williams' last film. Wished he'd gone out on a better note.

Whiplash.

Possibly the most compelling music related film I've ever seen. Absolutely stellar acting from J.K. Simmons and lead role Miles Teller does a damn good job too. Very low budget, very simple premise, very little advertising, just an immaculately well made film about a musician's pursuit of excellence and a mentor's determination to create a prodigy. It's not a wide release so you may have a hard time finding a nearby theater showing it.
