I like Donnie Darko, but honestly that movie is nonsense.

Yeah, it makes more sense the more times you watch it.

NO, but the general idea was wholesome.

Sure, I guess...the animation was great, the first 40 minutes were great...but it didn't really hold up for 90 minutes...:\

Maybe Shrek and Finding Nemo have just set the standard to high...:\

A hotch-pot of ideas but still great to see a British film that's on a par with anything that Hollywood can chuck out. Terrible 80's tunes used in one scene though.

Once you've seen one Takeshi Kitano movie you've seen them all really. Yakuza, pathos, general weirdness. Nicely shot as always. Wouldn't mind retiring to Okinawa.

After all I had heard was expecting more but the Hollywood remake of this Dutch film is probably responsible for that. However, the 80's synthesizer warbling was so out of place that the score merely served to destroy the tension in most scenes. At the end it's a toss-up between the original, terrifying ending or Jeff Bridges' speech impediment. Hmm...

Just about to get stuck in to Bloodsport for the first time since childhood. Convinced myself it will be best thing ever. Speaking of Van Damme, huh?

Bloodsport still kicks arse in a terrible but good way. I have quite a few Van Damme films-a guilty pleasure for sure.

BTW-that trailer looks great.
