I'd been holding off watching this for a while, because the book is one of my all-time favourites, and I was afraid it wouldn't adapt well to the screen. In a sense, it didn't - the plot was clipped and the philosophical aspect almost non-existent. However, the film was still entirely enjoyable. And when, at the most emotional moment, this started playing…

…I lost it. My first reaction was, "Oh my God, it's Art Garfunkel". I had no idea his music would be featured. Then I just started bawling. Until now, a movie had never brought me to tears. That alone will make watching it a memorable experience.

You don't need to have read the book to enjoy the movie, although I recommend you do - it's an entirely satisfying and thought-provoking read. Ultimately, I thought the film was faithful enough, while not trying to be an allegory. Solid 8/10.

Oh, and did I mention that I have Richard Adams' autograph?

I watched a documentary on the Eagles Sunday night. It was super long, but interesting.

The football team or the band?

If it's the one about the band I saw it recently too. Jebus, does Henley and Frey come off as complete d-bags by the end of it.

Finally saw The Sixth Sense. I had the ending spoiled for me so I never sat down to actually watch it. I'm not going to write a full review because honestly...what's the point. I really liked it. Even with knowing the ending, I felt the acting and story was powerful enough to draw me in. The final twenty minutes even had me teared up. That's good acting guys.

That's unfortunate. I got shivers down my spine the first time I watched it and the twist was revealed. Glad you still really dug it though.

The teary scene for me was when the son was telling his mom in the car how proud her mom was of her.

My fav scene is when Donnie wahlberg shoots Bruce.

I like the culmination of that scene and how it comes outta nowhere yet it's expected given the history between the characters
That and cause it's a very crucial scene to the big reveal in the end.

I remember i saw that film and no one spoiled the ending for me but it didn't blew me away or anything like that, i thought it was a cool twist but ppl made it seem like it was ground breaking story telling at the time just for that twist.

Spoiler for Well.....:
What was so cool about it for me was going back and watching it a second time and realizing it made perfect sense he was dead in all of those scenes. The one in the restaurant with his wife especially. First viewing you just think she's pissed off at him for being late again. Second viewing you get that she went to the restaurant as a symbolic gesture to their past only.

Probably don't need a spoiler since everyone knows, but just in case.
