I think my favorite bit was the fake rape scene where they kind of pointed out just how creepy the whole obsession with rape in Japanese porn (culture?) is. Seriously, Japan. WTF?

Yeah ill third Mulholland Drive. Sounds quite applicable to what you want.
Havent seen Inland Empire though, that's the one with Rabbits excerpt in it? Or from it or something. (I've seen Rabbits and it is very cool/scary as hell) |

Forgot about Eraserhead....add that one to your list Sparky
The Straight Story is a perfect testament to his skills as a film maker....Every shot in that film is flawless |

No mention of Naked Lunch or Videodrome?
Definitely check both of those out.

Hm well im basically a film noob but ill do my Lynch rankings so far
Mulholland Drive > Fire Walk With Me > Blue Velvet > Dune Rabbits would fit probably after MD just because it's so mesmerizing Also I need to check out Naked Lunch and Videodrome too. Ive only seen 2 Cronenbergs, Cosmopolis and The Fly. Cosmopolis is amazing. The Fly is... not. |

Long live the new flesh!
gonna have to disagree about The Fly....He took a fairly harmless classic and turned it into a nightmare of body horror Would also add eXisteZ....esp if he's a bit of a gamer Personally The Brood is my favorite Connerberg flick |
