That was great. Everybody is sleeping. Brad Pitt wakes up and is like "Hmmm, that's strange. Is there something going on in the other room?". He peels back a THIN GREY DIVIDER CURTAIN and there are zombies wreaking utter havoc and murder in the other section of the plane. Whoever made that divider curtain lost millions by not selling his invention to people who want to block out the sound of murder next door to them coming from monsters.

Spoiler for improbability:
How about the fact that the plane crash conveniently killed off all the zombies and superfluous characters, leaving only the main characters alive, and even more conveniently, leaving them within walking distance from their destination?

Yup. Lazy, lazy writing. I've been noticing that from Damon Lindelof since for f*cking ever. Don't watch Star Trek Into Darkness either.

Odd Thomas.

When I was scrolling through Netflix the title caught my eye and reminded me of something that I should know.

As I'm watching it, it all kicked back to me that it's based off of a book series. I loved the movie so much and would love to see more of it on screen. I downloaded the series awhile ago but never got around to reading it. It reminds me a bit of Dead Like Me in certain places. Anton Yelchin did a really good job but I wish Willem Dafoe had a bit more screen time.

Dark City

It was cool. Has kind of retro sci-fi feel. Probably would have been more interesting had I not watched the Matrix and Inception beforehand.

Speaking of which can people recommend a film in the same vein as this? Looking for more films where reality is an illusion, along the lines of Dark City, Matrix, Inception, Pi, etc

Not quite the same, but there's an anime movie called Perfect Blue that plays fast-and-loose with the concept of reality. Highly recommended.
