The action and special effects were definitely great but I just don't think I can say I enjoyed a film where a good chunk of the movie (AKA any part that doesn't involve a fight) was just boring trash, especially when it took up over an hour straight right in the middle of the movie. If it had a better balance of action mixed with this kind of stuff I could have forgiven it, but dividing it up the way they did just didn't work for me. I also thought the first two battle sequences were much more entertaining than the last one, for whatever that's worth. I've seen a lot of people say this is what a movie like Transformers would be if it had a good director, but I just don't understand that sentiment. This is another one you can lump into that category. If you slap Michael Bay's name on this, everyone would be saying the same thing. |

What? Oh god no! Why does it need a sequel? They don't even know how to make those movies anymore. They've forgotten how to put fake heart into a bad action movie.

that's not true, White House Down that just came out recently proves they know how to do that. It has the same formula as those bad 90s action movies.

The Darjeeling Limited
![]() I have been curious for a long time to see this movie, and I finally saw it at the library a few weeks ago and watched it the same night. Very good movie. I'm always interested in Wes Anderson's work because I find his directing style to be both bizarre and amazing. Plus, The Royal Tenenbaums is one of my all time favorite movies. |

I went to see Wolverine in 3D today and while the 3D part of it was pointless. I really enjoyed the movie. There was a little lull during the transition from the 2nd act to the 3rd act but other than that. The final act more than made up for it. It's definitely dvd-purchase worthy. I want to go see it again actually but there are so many other films out right now that I want to see and catch up on. Oh if you go to see it, stay til after the initial set of credits to see a very nice clip.

Went see this today, specifically because I had an urge for movie theater popcorn, which I like a lot for some reason. Plus I was bored.
Anyway, whoever made the trailer should have made the movie... it wasn't the way I thought it would be, but that's to be expected. I wouldn't ordinarily go to a theater to see this kind of film, but like I said, I wanted the popcorn, and I was bored. Oh well. I got what I wanted out of the deal.

that's on my list of movies to see over this next week.
I need to see that, RED 2 and R.I.P.D.

Does someone here remember WILD GUNS?
I've watched the movie 2 times now, it's still funny with Billy the Kid. Just watch it if you never have seen the movie. And I'm still looking for a new movie to watch. Don't know yet which one will be the next?
