I was surprised by this movie as well. Probably the most emotion I've seen from Kristin Stewart in just about anything (and I actually liked her in Runaways). And I didn't think her accent was terrible either. Charlize Theron was a delightfully evil witch.

I thought Kristin Stewart was awful, particularly in the scene where she gives the motivational speech. It's like she tries to portray someone with real emotions, but just fails miserably. In the Twilight movies, I always thought Jacob and Edward would be better off had they been interested in some other girls, f.ex someone capable of a convincing smile now and then.

The reason she was good in The Runaways is because the "whatever" attitude which seems so part of her very nature actually fit her character (Joan Jett).

I think she just plays the same boring character over and over again. She seems a little dead inside, like the whole world bores her. Always.

Welk I won't disagree that her acting style is pretty cardboard. I just thought she was better here than in, say Twilight or even Into The Wild. To be honest I haven't seen her in much else (Panic Room and Runaways was about it).

Right now, I'm watching Trailers compilations that run a very long time...

42'nd Street Forever - The Blu Ray Edition. 225 Minutes of pure Grindhouse History!

The Incredible Martial Arts Mayhem Trailer Show - 50 previews featuring a lot of classic jumping around, kicking, punching, funky soundtracks, loud pings, breaking through obviously weak walls, fast editing, bad overdubbing, loud screaming, and (yes) great photography. That's entertainment! It's making me wish that I would have been my age back when the Fox Theater was playing Martial Arts flicks on a regular basis...at least I caught some of this stuff on TV, though.

I got the movie called Moon from Netflix by mail. Do you think I'll like it?

It really depends on whether or not you like great movies.

It wasn't a hard concept.

Well I really liked it. It was pretty realistic by all 5 senses, especially the sounds. My husband wouldnt watch it w me bc he said he 'hates fake stuff' and so do I but for some reason I put this in my queue. The ending was so sad and disappointing.
Another space-like movie I liked was Battlefield Earth which everyone else disliked. People find it shocking I have never seen Star Wars or (what is the other show's name?).
