Get Him to the Greek (US 2010) is a spinoff from the completely forgettable Forgetting Sarah Marshall. An American record company employee, played by the wearisome Jonah Hill, is sent to the UK to recall rockstar Aldous Snow (Russell Brand) for a comeback show at The Greek Theater. Brand and Sean Coombs give reasonable performances as music industry stereotypes, while a slapstick scene in a hotel suite is moderately amusing. But, the combination of Brand's eccentric ramblings with Hollywood sentiment just does not work. The film is certainly not to my taste and I thought it was awful.

Might have been better without Keira Knightley's character or maybe based solely on her character. I thought it turned out too cluttered.

This is all I took away from that film. I want a good Cronenberg film dammit. His last two were very mediocre.

Or without the gross historical inaccuracies. I don't mind some dramatic elaboration, but geez...

Has Keira Knightley ever done anything worthwhile? Everything about her makes me wanna hurl. She's not even particularly attractive. She looks like what Natalie Portman would look like with Kristen Stewart's expression.

I think she was in Bend it Like Beckham, which is a good low budget film about an Asian girl who is a talented footballer, but her family disapprove. The simplest ideas are the best.

But did she not suck in it?

I can't remember, so she must've been adequate.

She was great in Bend it like Beckham. She was also good in Domino, Atonement, and Love Actually. She also starred in the mega hit Pirates of the Carribean movies. I think shes a very attractive girl.

Out of that list, I only approve of her performance in Domino

Yesterday I went with my mom and boyfriend to see Jurassic Park in 3D Imax. Honestly, this was the first time I ever saw the movie, and it was EPIC! I read the book by Michael Crichton a few years ago, and I think the movie captures it pretty well. And the Imax is just awesome.
